© Copyright Jez Broun 2011 about Jez Broun Jeremy (Jez) Broun is an internationally known furniture designer maker and woodworking author who has won numerous awards in his field. His passion for music introduced him to the world of woodworking at the age of 17 when he made his first guitar in a weekend whilst he was at school.  A career in working mostly alone at woodworking in a tiny workshop brought him full circle back to music in recent years and his performing apprenticeship has been served busking on the streets of Bath. ‘When I design and make a piece of furniture art it would land up in an exclusive gallery and I may not even meet the client. This creates a gulf between my pleasure in creating a piece and the client’s pleasure in living with it. Musicians are very lucky because the feedback is not only instaneous but the interaction and communication is unparalled . It is as though the music is in the air and the musician is a conduit for this magic energy to touch almost everyone’. Jeremy plays his own guitars and also plays the cello.
